Introduction

Fintriq does not require you to store your financial data on external servers. All transactions, accounts, budgets, loans, and portfolio records are stored locally on your device.

This policy applies to all users of the Fintriq mobile application.


Information We Collect

Fintriq collects minimal information required for app functionality:

• Device-level app data (stored locally only)

• Optional login credentials (email authentication if enabled)

• Optional encrypted backup data (only when user enables backup)


How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only to provide financial tracking features such as expenses, income tracking, budgeting, loan management, and AI insights.

Fintriq does not sell, rent, or share your personal financial data with third parties.


AI Assistant Usage

The Fintriq AI assistant helps you understand spending patterns, categorize transactions, and provide financial insights. AI processing is used only to improve user experience and does not expose or store your financial data externally.


Data Storage

All financial records are stored locally on your device using secure encrypted storage methods.

Users may optionally enable encrypted backup to restore data on another device.


Backup & Restore

Backup is fully optional and user-controlled. If enabled, your data is encrypted before being stored securely. You can restore or delete backups at any time.


Permissions

Fintriq may request the following permissions:

• Internet: Used only for login, AI features, and backup sync (optional)

• Storage: Used for saving offline financial data locally

• Notifications: Used for reminders and financial alerts (optional)


Data Security

We use encryption and secure local storage practices to protect your data from unauthorized access. Since data remains on your device, security also depends on your device protection (PIN, biometrics, etc.).

Fintriq continuously improves security standards to protect against modern threats.


User Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and application access. We recommend enabling device lock and secure backup for additional protection.


Third-Party Services

Fintriq may use optional third-party services for authentication or AI processing. These services do not have access to your stored financial data unless explicitly required by you.
